Weekly writing support

($125/hr)

These sessions are designed for a) students who are struggling with academic reading, writing, and thinking, and b) students who want to level up and sharpen their academic skills. Through personalized sessions, we will dive into the fundamentals of writing, learn how to read more deeply, tackle complex literary analysis, and deconstruct English assignments. Our goal is to empower you to become a more confident reader, writer, and critical thinker so that you not only succeed in class but also master lifelong skills. We work within your school’s tutoring policies, and support both AP and Non-AP English curriculums.

Writing Enrichment

($100-125/hr)

If you are seeking more challenge and creativity than your classes offer, this option is for you. This service is designed to ignite a passion for language and cultivate a stronger writing voice. Through individualized sessions based on your needs, goals and personality, we focus on creative expression, critical thinking, and a variety of writing prompts that will help you explore and differentiate your voice. Whether it's crafting a compelling story or mastering persuasive prose, students will build a powerful foundation for both school and personal fulfillment.

College Essay & Application Support

($150/hr)

A note: Many families are now using independent college counselors/educational consultants to navigate this complex and competitive process. However, these professionals usually offer only 1-2 passes at students’ essays and are not trained writers or English teachers.

With our service, you will have a trusted partner by your side who will not only consider the whole application but also offer expert writing guidance. Our one-on-one support helps you explore your unique story, guiding you through every step of the essay-writing journey: from brainstorming, freewriting, and drafting to polished final responses that meet the word count. It is our joy and passion to watch young adults grow through this process. We commit to drafting until you have a set of compelling essays that will stand out to admissions committees.
